The Spring/Summer 2012 OFFSHORE Collection by SUPER is a natural evolution of the previous Panama Collection. One step further towards exploration in design and materials, while raising the experience of SUPER. The focus is on color: soft translucent colors, new colored acetates and colored lenses, contrasts and tints – each combination carefully selected to ensure that the quality and design are not diluted.
This collection was created with enthusiasm and spirit of the spring/summer season in mind: the excited anticipation of summer in the spring months as the stretch in the evenings arrives, and the infectious carefree, devil-may-care summer time high.
Model Presentation: BASIC, LUCIA, FLAT TOP & PANAMA
For this Spring SUPER gave to the well known BASIC shape a make-over, playing with new color and material without altering the timeless silhouette. Light to the touch, easy on the eye: soft , translucent colored matte acetate paired with a velvety-smooth finish and a contrasting colored lens. Available in a a baby blue frame and a dark green lens. The main aim here is to gain in its simplicity, easy-going, easy-to-wear. This set of BASIC SHAPES will suit your look as the days get longer.
This set of the LUCIA model will be nothing but trouble for the men this Summer. The sweet candy-colored crystal acetates are paired with contrasting colored lenses, semi- transparent in order to see the girl’s eyes. Ultra-feminine, with a retro 60s and 70s touch, crafted always with modern materials of superior quality. The lenses are lightly tinted making them ideal for situations with dim-lighting. Playful, fresh, flirtatious, provocative: sure to gain attention.
FLAT TOP: Must Have Classic Pair of Glasses
The shades were treated with an anti-reflection effect on the inside to avoid those annoying and distracting reflections in your eyes and allow you to see clearer. PANAMA
When SUPER introduced the PANAMA model last season, in havana and tortoise acetates, we knew it had the staying power to become a SUPER classic, the timelessness of the shape and dynamic of the style making it irresistible. This season SUPER is introducing color in the PANAMA model. The color combinations were carefully picked to ensure a tasteful and modest effect of transparent acetates and tinted lenses without harming the elegance of the model. Available in two variations: in lucid metal in matte blue, in a brown crystal acetate or green crystal acetate, always with silver hardware.
